NEUROMIND
FINAL YEAR PROJECT
1st Runners Up In COMPPEC 2026 Software Solution Category








NeuroMind is a portable, edge-AI diagnostic device designed to help doctors detect Dravet Syndrome (a rare childhood epilepsy) from EEG data. Running on a Raspberry Pi + OpenBCI setup, it uses deep learning for classification, an autoencoder to highlight seizures visually, and a RAG-based chatbot for treatment recommendations
EEG data is acquired either live via OpenBCI (9-channel) or sent as EDF to Device, passed through a two-stage classification pipeline, visually analyzed via an autoencoder, and supported by a RAG-based chatbot embedded with research papers for treatment guidance.
